Contract Project Manager

We are going to implement a 3-year government-funded project (“Project”) for the IT industry, and are inviting interested candidates to apply for the post of “Contract Project Manager” for a period of 3 years:

Responsibilities:
 Be the key person for project coordination and administration
 Liaise with related government departments (such as Trade and Industry Department) for project status update, reporting and other approval issues
 Coordinate HKITF Council Members, General Members, Project Steering and Vetting Committee Members for project implementation
 Solicit support and participation from other associations and organizations for the project events
 Invite and liaise with sponsors
 Monitor and coordinate with the project implementation agents according to the project schedule
 Handle daily external enquiry about the Project and project deliverables
 Handle project budget, procurement and payment issues
 Prepare Reports, including progress reports and final project reports

Requirements:
 University undergraduate degree or above
 At least 3-year relevant working and project management experience
 Experience in implementing government-funded project preferred
 Knowledge in online system design and development preferred
 Ability to work independently and under pressure
 Good communication skills in Putonghua, Cantonese and English
 Willing to travel to Mainland for project preparation and implementation
 Since it is a 3-year project, commitment is required throughout the project period
