With enthusiasm to promote e-Learning amongst the educators and IT industry players, e-Learning Consortium of Hong Kong Information Technology Federation (HKITF) organized Education 2.0 Conference on Saturday, 27 Mar 2010 to explore a new era of education beyond ways of traditional education model. Education 2.0 Conference was a focused half-day conference with exhibition area for IT players to showcase the latest e-Learning tools and applications. The event gathered an unprecedented lineup of educators and IT professionals which including principals, teachers, parents, publishers as well as those new e-learning services providers. Delegates learnt about the latest e-Learning tools, e-book issues, best practices and standards.

Hong Kong Supplementary Character Set (HKSCS)-2004 Support for Window Platform

To facilitate electronic communication within the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) that involves Chinese characters and special symbols commonly used in the HKSAR, the Government developed the Government Common Character Set (GCCS) in 1995. This character set was later enhanced by the Government, and was renamed Hong Kong Supplementary Character Set (HKSCS). Continue Reading…
